Dachsbracke
The Dachsbracke resembles the Dachshund, except it has longer legs. They used to be popular with German Royalty because they were good hunting dogs. Their hair is short and thick.

The Dachshund a short-legged, longbodied German dog with a houndlike head. Dachshund means 'badger dog' in German. There are six breeds of Dachshund - 'the smooth-haired', 'long-haired' and 'wire-haired' plus the 'miniature smooth-haired', the 'miniature long-haired' and the 'miniature wire-haired'. |

Dandie Dinmont Terrier
The Dandie Dinmont Terrier is long-bodied, short-legged, with rough coat, silky topknot, long ears; pepper or mustard colour.
Deerhound
The Deerhound is a large hunting dog, more heavily built than a greyhound, and with a rough coat.
Doberman Pinscher

Dogue de Bordeaux
The Dogue de Bordeaux breed of dog is a Mastiff from France. They used to be used as fighting dogs.
